The crew here at Rockstar Performance Garage were all pumped to see the guys from Rock Krawler cross the finish line at the 2017 King of the Hammers. This was one to remember! Showing up to the lakebed from New York with a brand new vehicle wasn’t going to be easy but they worked together, completed the build, and were ready to race! However, the night before the race, they went out for a photoshoot and accidently ripped the banjo bolt right off the brake caliper. Lucky for them, the R1 brake crew was there and had a spare they were using as a display. Problem solved! After getting through the rocky desert course in 9 hours and 15 minutes, they were placed in the 21st spot. That is amazing considering that 85 of 133 racers didn’t even finish the race! Odyssey battery provided these guys plenty of power to run all the electronics throughout this intense desert race. Congrats to driver Jeremy Purick, co-driver Jason Seamons, and the rest of the crew over at the Rock Krawler shop.
