Every year the city of Las Vegas, NV hosts thousands of car enthusiasts and owners from around the US in a massive show known as “SEMA”. The SEMA show is the premier automotive specialty products trade show event in the world. This year the show alone brought in 70,000 domestic and international buyers. This year was a big year for us as we brought in a total of 18 vehicles to display in different booths throughout the show. We also had a massive tv screen in our Rockstar Garage booth that measured 16x9ft. This screen looped killer video content that was created here at the garage with the vehicles we have built. Awesome seeing how many people stopped to watch the videos. Now, time to highlight a few of the newer builds that were brought in. First off, Bullet Liner brought in their fresh build known as the Iron Jacket MJ. This thing had a one of a kind pattern done completely in Bullet Liner. Along with that detail, it had King coilover suspension, a V8 motor for insane power, full custom interior, R1 brakes, Yukon gearing, Powertank air supply, KMC wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson tires, and much more. As it sat in the booth, it definitely caught quite a bit of attention from the crowds that came by. Second, we had the Scrapyard JK built by Freedom Fab Works. This rat rob inspired build sat in the Yukon Gear and Axle booth and had people around it every day. This build was a full custom setup containing parts from Genright Offroad, Yukon Gear and Axle, Powertank, Odyssey Battery, R1 Brakes, KMC Wheels, Mickey Thompson tires, Magnaflow Exhaust, Warn Winch, and much more. Almost each part of this build was modified specifically to fit this beast. It turned out to be quite the head turner each day at the show. Another big highlight of this years show, was the release of Mickey Thompson’s new 43 inch off road tire called the Baja Pro X. This tire is an absolute beast and sat on the Spyder Auto JK in their booth. This is the first 43 inch tire that they have released and caught the attention of anyone walking by it. Cruising from inside to the outside area at SEMA, there were still plenty of booths and activities going on all around. From drift demos, trucks jumping, FMX shows, live music, and so much more you could see to keep yourself entertained throughout the entire day. During the final day at the show, people begin to pack up their booths and get ready the SEMA Ignited show and the parade. Thousands of vehicles line up and drive thru Vegas to the location of the show. The parade sidelines fill up with so many spectators that its almost impossible to see if you don’t get there early. Packing up and getting out of there is always tough, but the crew made it happen. The following morning of the show, we headed out to the desert to do our big post SEMA photo shoot with many of the vehicles we had with us and even a few others came along as well. We spent most of the morning taking vehicles out one by one to get as many shots as we could with the time we had. All of the brands we partner with did an amazing job of coming together and making this year another successful year in Vegas. We wanna thank everyone for the hard work as well as all the people who came by the booths to check out our builds. Here at the garage, we are already getting ready with plans for SEMA 2019. Cant wait to see everyone again soon!
