2012 Copper & Black Sonic's

Partnering with Chevy in 2011, LDRSHIP designs was hired to produce two versions of the hatchback 1.8 turbo Sonic for the SEMA Show. The Copper Sonic, nicknamed Tuner Girl for its matte copper finish and leopard accents, was built with the female auto enthusiast in mind without using the typical pink and white mash up. The black Sonic, nicknamed Stealth, was built towards the male enthusiast wanting something that would look tough but still be a great economy car. Both Sonics feature Brembo GT brakes, KW sport tuned suspension and SEIBON Carbon Fiber Body parts. Inside these cars you'll find custom matching interiors of suede, leather and paint, with upgraded sound systems from Soundstream and Precision Power. The Sonics debuted at the 2011 SEMA Show in Chevys booth, taking home a GM design Award with them.
