In 2008, The National Guard needed a new piece to the puzzle to link the youth to a country at War. Turning to Stillen Automotive and their support from Nissan North America, Ashby was given the first dollar car of his career. Building the Altima in 3 short months, Ashby received help from Airhead Kustoms and worked on the car around his military and civilian job hours. The Altima received a two tone exterior paint job, ACU Digital Camo, that lasted 12 hours straight showing the soldier side while the Candy Green body and wheels showed the Civilian side. The Altima easily reflected the joint duties of a Citizen Soldier and was a great success after touring the country with the National Guard and Ashby. It was donated to UTI as a project car for students to use as a project build.
