2011 Chevy Duramax, Derecho, Chevy Dollar Car 2010 showed another bold move for LDRSHIP designs to build and showcase their first off road project. Moving forward with Chevy on the DERECHO project, the thought was to build the First Long travel, factory backed, HD Duramax. Looking to CST performance and their Chevy heritage, they proved success in creating a suspension that could handle a 10,000 lb truck off road. Fiberwerx was called to build a body out of Carbon to lighten the load and give it the strength the truck needs to maintain the duties of an HD. Walker Evans wheels were the only choice available that can handle the weight and load limits needed. Currently the Druamax has been rebranded as the ROCKSTAR Duramax and shows and tows still 3 years later. The Duramax debuted at the 2010 Sema Show in Chevys Booth, The Duramax taking home the "PEOPLE'S Choice Award" an online poll created by Chevy for the worldwide fans to choose their favorite build from all SEMA builds.
