Big Pine Overlanding Trip

In search of adventure, the crew here at Rockstar Garage packed up and headed towards Big Pine for an overlanding trip. For this trip, we were also joined by a few of our good friends. The Pandra came out as well as Bob Overlander from CVT Tents and Paul from R1 Brakes. As we set off into the mountains, the first day was a travel/explore day. We explored old mining caves and then made our way into the perfect camp site for the evening. As the sun went down, the CVT Tents went up. We spent the night around the fire chatting and enjoying the outdoors. The following day, we packed up and headed higher up into the mountains and eventually reaching some significant amounts of snow. The Eastern Sierras are beautiful this time of the year with the mix of snow and the amount of water coming off them. There were patches of snow blocking some of the trail but we were able to find our way around and continue on. After hours on the trail, we made it out on a black diamond trail and drove down mountain to camp again for the night. We were very impressed with all the vehicles on this trip! All the parts held up and these vehicles did very well in snow. Thank you to those who joined us and maybe we will see you on the next one.
